Looking for Rat Lab promo codes on Roblox? This hub gives you a straight answer first, then explains how codes usually appear, how to tell them apart from Mutation Index markers and the All Mutation Codes gamepass, and where to go when a real redeemable gift finally ships.

Current status (September 2026)

As of our latest check in September 2026, there are no confirmed working promo codes for Rat Lab by Evil Science. We are not listing invented strings, expired placeholders, or “maybe” codes copied from unrelated games. If a site promises FREE CASH, exclusive morphs, or infinite Forever pass unlocks via a mystery word, treat it as unverified until you see it from the official Roblox experience page, the Evil Science community, Discord, or an in-game announcement.

That does not mean the game will never run codes. Many Roblox titles drop codes after like milestones, group joins, update streams, or Discord events. When Rat Lab publishes a real code, this hub will list the string, the reward, and any expiry note we can verify. Until then, the honest play is to learn the redeem flow early and avoid scam lists.

Promo codes vs Mutation Index vs All Mutation Codes pass

Players often search “Rat Lab codes” and land on three different systems:

1. Promo / redeem codes — typed into a Codes box for gifts (coins, boosts, cosmetics, temporary perks). These are the classic Roblox marketing codes. None are confirmed working right now.
2. Mutation Index colour / specimen markers — in-lab tracking tied to scientist mutation work. They are not redeemable promo codes. Mixing them up wastes time and feeds bad guides. See Mutations.
3. All Mutation Codes gamepass (R$2499, launched 14 Sep 2026) — a paid Index convenience pass. It is NOT a promo code, NOT a free gift string list, and NOT proof that redeemable codes exist. Full catalog and value notes: Gamepasses. Timeline: Updates.

Where Rat Lab codes usually appear

When Evil Science (or similar Roblox labs) run codes, they tend to surface in the same places:

• Group shout / community posts — join the official Evil Science group and watch shouts after updates.
• Discord announcements — patch notes, like goals, and weekend events often include a one-time string. See the Discord howto on the Official Links page.
• Like / favourite milestones — some experiences unlock a code after the place hits a visit or like target (mid-Sep traffic sat near ~669k visits / ~1.8k CCU).
• In-game update banners — check the lobby or pause menu after major patches (Forever passes 7 Sep, Stronger Leash 12 Sep, All Mutation Codes 14 Sep, place push 19 Sep).

Never buy “private codes” from strangers in chat. Real promos are free and public.

What to do while you wait

Codes are a bonus, not a progression gate. Spend your sessions on the real loop:

• Learn the three roles on the Teams Hub — Lab Rats, Scientists, and Security.
• Practice the three-stage escape and optional revenge if you queue Lab Rat.
• Study tools and unlocks — session tool unlocks reset each join, so plan loadouts every round; paid skips live on Gamepasses.
• Learn the Map and Controls so device friction does not feel like a “missing code.”
• Grab a vest when you can: the vest grants +50 HP, which matters in chase and holdouts.
• Chase the six badges on Badges instead of fake redeem lists.
• Bookmark Updates for Forever passes, Mutation Codes pass notes, and patch timing.

Scam checklist

Before you type anything into a Codes UI (or worse, a third-party site):

• Does the code come from an official channel, not a random Discord DM?
• Does the reward match what the announcement said?
• Are you being asked to enter a password, Robux gift card, or “verifier” site? Walk away.
• Are Mutation Index colours or the All Mutation Codes pass being sold as “secret promo codes”? They are not. See Mutations and Gamepasses.
